How do CLE completions get reported to my state bar?

OasisLMS maintains the record and produces the reporting; it does not file with state bars on your behalf. Credit claim reports export to Excel filtered by credit type and specialty category, credits can write back to your AMS through the integration, and where an accrediting body publishes an API, OasisLMS connects to it directly, as it does today with PARS and CPE Monitor. Most bar associations file from the OasisLMS export.

Does OasisLMS have built-in state CLE rules?

No, and that is deliberate. OasisLMS is configured to your program: you define the credit types you award, the specialty categories beneath them, and the eligibility rules controlling who can claim what. When a jurisdiction changes its requirements, your administrators adjust the configuration rather than waiting on a vendor release.

How are ethics and specialty credits handled?

Named specialty categories sit underneath a primary credit type. You can set the category breakdown at the course level, for example two ethics credits and one technology credit, or let attorneys allocate their own credits across categories up to a limit you define. Categories appear on the course listing, the attorney's transcript, the certificate, and the credit claim report, and can be filtered in reporting.

Can attorneys licensed in multiple states track credit separately?

Yes. A single course can offer several named credit types at once, and each attorney claims only those they are eligible for based on their profile. Credit types that cannot be claimed together can be grouped as mutually exclusive. Each credit is recorded separately on the attorney's transcript, certificate, and in your reports.

How does OasisLMS verify attendance for on-demand CLE?

On-demand video and audio engagement is tracked against the asset's running time, with skip-ahead blocked, and you set how much of an asset an attorney must complete before it counts. You can also require a post-test, an evaluation, or an acknowledgment before credit is released, and combine requirements so an attorney must finish specific content plus a minimum number of optional items.

How do attorneys get their CLE certificates and transcripts?

Certificates generate automatically on credit claim and can include the attorney's bar number, credits earned by type and specialty category, course details, and completion date. Templates can be set organization-wide, per credit type, or per course. Attorneys can view a running transcript of all credit earned and export it to Excel.

Does OasisLMS integrate with association management systems for CLE?

Yes. OasisLMS integrates with many leading association management systems (AMS), allowing organizations to synchronize member data, registrations, purchases, and learner records across systems.

Can we award CLE for credit earned outside the platform?

Yes. Self-reported activities let attorneys submit external credit with a disclosure step, custom fields you define, supporting document upload, and validation rules. You can cap how much can be claimed, require administrator approval before credit is granted, and require an evaluation afterward.
